Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-08-22. The converter itself still collects nothing; the site as a whole uses advertising cookies once you accept them.

The converter

The interactive converter runs entirely in your browser. There's no account, no login, and no data sent to a server when you use it. Your recent conversion history lives in your browser's memory for the current tab only and is gone once you close or reload the page.

Advertising

UnitMojo intends to show ads served by Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs. No advertising cookie is ever set without your explicit consent. Before any ad script loads, you are shown a banner with the choice to accept or reject, and rejecting is as easy as accepting - two buttons, side by side. If you reject, no ad script loads and no advertising cookie is set, though the reserved ad space will simply stay empty. The site works identically either way.

If no banner has appeared, that is because no advertising script is currently configured on the page you are reading, so there is nothing to consent to. You can check this yourself: view the page source and look for third-party script tags.

If and when ads are running and you accept, Google AdSense may set cookies and use device identifiers to select and measure ads, and may share data with its advertising partners. Google's own policy on how it uses information from sites that use its services explains this in full, and you can review or reset your ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings at any time.

Your choice

Once ads are running, your accept/reject choice will be stored on your own device (in browser local storage, not on our servers) so you aren't asked again on your next visit. Clearing your browser's site data will reset the choice and show the banner again. Until ads are running there is no banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

The rest of the website

All pages are ordinary web pages served like any other website, so standard web server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and page requested) may be recorded by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes, in line with that provider's own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

The site does not knowingly direct advertising at children or knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the site's advertising provider, the data it collects, or how consent is handled ever changes. Check back here for the current version.
